so it starts....ctx question
I know I should know this by now, but...I'm 17wks today. I've been having what I'd call little ctx for a few weeks now. Some of them have felt different then before, more like labor pains then irritable uterus ctx. Now tonight, I've been having ctx for a few hours. I've been laying down, drank some, but they haven't stopped. And I'm having pain with them, which is different then before. So, I'm wondering if I should call the dr in the AM? I know, I should know to call, but I doubt myself. Tim will be no help. What would they do since I'm not 20 weeks yet?

Re: so it starts....ctx question
Probably tell you the same thing you are already doing, but they might want you to come in and check for dilation. HUGS!!!

Re: so it starts....ctx question
Call... they may be able to put your mind at ease too, which might even help with the ctx. And if they're 'real' maybe they'd hook you up to an IV for dehydration (btdt) or start on a med to try to stop them (btdt too).
Its frustrating ... I know my DH wouldn't be helpful either. |

Re: so it starts....ctx question
Ok, I didn't call this morning. I felt fine all day, ran errands and had a nap. Now tonight I'm feeling so-so again. We'll see as the night progresses. This is usually how it goes, always at night. So now I'm wondering if the dr is open tomorrow.
I wouldn't doubt it if I am dehydrated. I'm having problems with my appetite and feeling full and even drinking makes me feel worse.

Re: so it starts....ctx question
If you really have to, go to the urgent care clinic. But they are probably open limited hours tomorrow at the regular office. Just call early
