Level 3 NICU

Is level 3 the best? I think it is, but I'm not sure. That's what they have at the hospital where I will deliver.

I hope you don't need it. Your baby will be full term and chubby!

I'm hoping he weights at least 45 pounds a birth. I've gained 50 pounds now.

Re: Level 3 NICU

I am shuddering at the idea of delivering a 45 pound baby...

Re: Level 3 NICU

lol

and, yes. We purposefully chose our OB and peri with the Level 3 hospital in mind when I was pregnant with Kyra & Emma. Thank god we got lucky and didn't need it, but if it's an option you're much better off being there and NOT needing it as opposed to being some where else and your baby needing to be transported and you left behind.

Hope you don't need it :hug

Re: Level 3 NICU

45 pounds is a nice size.... for a back pack on a hike! The placenta and water should weigh something too... but not 45lbs. Can you imagine BF a 45lb baby. The looks you would get!
