new commitment
I've made a new commitment to start drinking more water. So far today I've had almost 80 ounces of water, flavored with instant green tea mix, and only 2 dews! This is an attempt to be a bit healthier and to make an effort to lose some weight.

I drink about 80 ounces a day. I pee a lot, but that's ok. another excuse to get up from my desk once in a while!

I add crystal light 'focus' or 'wild strawberry' to at least one of the water's every day. they are caffeinated. I find I don't really like or crave soda anymore. I'm getting my caffeine, but not feeling bloated from the carbonation.

the green tea mix doesn't have caffeine, but it does have some sugar so that's why I'm trying to only add a little. I'm hoping that the more I drink, the less I will be thirsty for the dew. Then it can be a treat.

Day 2:
I had a 8oz. glass of 1% milk for breakfast, 30oz. of water with 1tbsp of green tea mix, and I am just now going to have my first mountain dew! I also had a salad and a few almonds for lunch.

Good Luck Melissa you can do it, I used to drink a 2 liter of mellow yellow a day. Now I pretty much just drink water and maybe 1 can of my every other day. It is hard in the beginning but it is worth it.
