What is up with this cat?
We adopted a new kitty last weekend. He is about a year old little boy. He is so funny. He is a little bit species confused as in he thinks he is part dog. He likes to jump up like a dog and especially targets Maggie whom he usually succeeds with jumping on her and knocking her down. He also likes to dance a jig on his back legs. We have never seen such a thing. He is a very very friendly kitty and is always talking. If Maggie cries he runs to her and meows right along with her. If someone comes home he goes right up to them for a greeting. It is funny, after he saw me kiss John when he came home the silly kitty insist on doing the same thing now too John upon returning from work.
According to the vet he is partially blind (I guess they shined a light in his eyes and could tell). We have not seen any problem with his blindness until last night. He came into our room and stole my glasses on the night stand not once not twice not three times BUT four times. He picked them up in his mouth and left the room with them. I have never had a cat mess with my glasses before. Then I was up with Maggie and he tried knocking my glasses off my face and just now as I was typing this he tried to steal my glasses. The only conclusion I can draw from this is he is nearsighted and wants a pair of glasses to see.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with weird cats.
One cat likes to lick plastic bags. According to the vet it is normal. Also the cat likes to jump up on my pillow at night and swat me in order to get attention. The things we put up with when we get animals. |
